A load chart will give you theory, but rapid climbs, flying through inversions or at altitude will cause your envelope temperature to fluctuate and once you’ve flown with this, you’ll never fly without it again.

Tethering

The unique backlight takes all of the worries about overheating during those long all burns away. Simply note the temperature when you’ve inflated and just stay above this figure to avoid the balloon deflating. You’ll be surprised how low this initial temperature usually is and you’ll use a lot less fuel and heat than before to stay upright. During those busy ‘all burns’, you can watch the screen and vent as soon as you start to get too hot.
